Band Name: SLEEVE
Band Information: Originally started by Syaz and buddy, Paul (drums and percussion), the duo called themselves "Sleeves" to signify each being either on the left (sleeve) or on the right (sleeve). Khai was roped in soon after. Kim officially joined abruptly in late July 2005. Keyboardist Charmaine sessioned for our first gig (23rd July 2005) where we named ourselves simply as "Sleeve". Shirin completed the band as a permanent Keyboardist in November.. In January, barely a week after a performance at Stasis 8, Paul passed away in his sleep much to the shock of everyone. The band went on a hiatus for several months until a mutual friend, Arief, agreed to join as drummer to enable Sleeve to carry on..
Sleeve draws inspiration from true life experiences and emotions, making it easy for listeners to relate.
